First planting in Belgium
The first planting of Mammoth grass in Belgium started on 27 April 2024. 3 ha were planted of which 25% were planted in the month of May due to wet weather conditions in spring 2024. It was not possible in the following weeks to prepare the soils with the tractor. A mood picture of the first weekend of planting where we at Mammoetgras Belgium were visited by Hein Stam of Dutch Plant Force. Hein came to see how the planting works went and assisted us with good advice. With the help of friends and family, we planted 22000 carrots in 24 hours with a 2-row planting machine.
